At the discussion meeting, Mr. CHEN Enhai, Dean of the School of Agricultural Engineering, first introduced the development process of the tea "Double-High" major, regarding the teaching team, the practical training conditions, and the construction of school-enterprise cooperation in GVTC. Ms. Yunn PoeOu, the Executive Director of Myanmar Mudra Myay Co. Ltd., then introduced that the company was founded in 2021 and is an emerging star in Myanmar's tea industry. The company is mainly cooperating with local tea farmers in Myanmar to produce green tea and black tea. The company is currently affiliated with the Myanmar Tea Association and cooperating with a series number of tea companies and factories under the association.

Ms. Yunn mentioned in the meeting that although Mudra and local tea factories have experience in exporting tea to Europe, at present, Myanmar tea is not as widely recognized and attractive around the world as Chinese tea. Besides that, most Myanmar tea companies do not have a systematic tea sales model. Myanmar tea cannot obtain maximum value in sales. Therefore, she hoped that GVTC can give technical support and assistance to the company from various aspects such as tea planting technology, tea quality identification, tea sales, etc., and help the tea industry in Myanmar to carry out industrial upgrading. She also said that she will send tea samples produced by Mudra to GVTC soon, and hope to help them identify the quality of the tea. At the same time, other companies under the Myanmar Tea Association also have the same needs. These tea companies will further sort out a list of cooperation needs and send it to GVTC in anticipation of the next step of school-enterprise cooperation and international exchange.
