On January 12th, the cloud unveiling ceremony of Silk Road Tea Institute of Guangxi Vocational and Technical College and Indonesia Research Institute for Tea and Cinchona was hosted online. Yunyan CHENG , Deputy Head of Guangxi Vocational and Technical College, and Dr. Agus Susanto, Head of Indonesia Tea and Quinine Institute attended the ceremony together and signed on behalf of each party the Memorandum of Understanding between Guangxi Vocational and Technical College (China) and Indonesia Research Institute for Tea and Cinchona, as well as hosting the cloud unveiling ceremony. Leaders from School of Agriculture and Engineering and College of International Education, relevant members from Indonesia Research Institute for Tea and Cinchona and teachers from Tea Teaching and Research Center of School of Agriculture and Engineering also attended the ceremony.

On the ceremony, the attending leaders of both parties gave a speech respectively. In her speech, Yunyan CHENG pointed out that both China and Indonesia are major developing countries, and faced with centurial changes and a rare epidemic within a hundred years, both countries should work together to build a community of common destiny. The key to achieve this goal is to complete every specific task well, and the establishment of Silk Road Tea Institute of Guangxi Vocational and Technical College - Indonesia Research Institute for Tea and Cinchona is just the best demonstration of "completing every specific task well", which is significantly meaningful.

Dr. Agus Susanto, Head of Indonesia Research Institute for Tea and Cinchona also pointed out in his speech that hopefully through this collaboration, they can have a high-level talk and in-depth communication with China’s Guangxi Vocational and Technical College, as well as conducting in-depth collaboration in fields like agricultural research, technical exchanges and vocational training. Both parties join hands to face with the impact of climate changes on tea industry, realize green tea industry and sustainable development, becoming a model of international collaboration in the epidemic.

Both parties also respectively introduced the basic information of their Department of Tea and establishment achievements, as well as suggesting international exchange activities like exchange visits of both parties, academic exchange, course training and collaborative research within the frame of building Silk Road Tea Institute, jointly promoting the communication and integration of regional education and working together to enlarge and enpower "tea industry, tea technology and tea skills".
