GVTC and Mae Fah Laung University Co-hosted Tea Sensory Workshop Discussion Meeting

On March 25, School of Agriculture and Engineering of Guangxi Vocational and Technical College and Tea and Coffee Institute of Mae Fah Laung University co-hosted the Tea Sensory Workshop Discussion Online Meeting. The main purpose of the meeting is for both schools to discuss the specific matters of the online workshop on tea culture and tasting in the near future.

 

On the meeting, both sides had in-depth discussions on the specific time and schedule of the workshop project, the types of tea tasting samples and standards and the future cooperation direction of the two sides, and finally reached a consensus. It was preliminarily determined that the "Tea Culture and Tea Sensory Workshop" will be co-hosted by Guangxi Vocational and Technical College and Mae Fah Laung University from May 17 to 18 this year.

 

Tea Sensory Workshop project is an in-depth cooperative project between Guangxi Vocational and Technical College and Tea and Coffee Institute of Mae Fah Laung University under the cooperation framework of "Silk Road Tea Institute". The purpose is to provide tea culture, tea technology and tea tasting skills training for tea majors and Thai tea practitioners in Mae Fah Laung University, as well as working together to promote innovative and friendly international academic and cultural exchanges of "meeting friends with tea".

 

The meeting was presided by Enhai CHEN, Dean of School of Agriculture and Engineering. Hongmei ZHAO, Dean of College of  International Education, Chuanyou GAO, Vice President of School of Agriculture and Engineering, and teachers of the Tea "High-Level Vocational College" Professional Group of School of Agriculture and Engineering, Dr. Piyaporn, Director of Tea and Coffee Institute of Mae Fah Laung University, researcher Ms. Jiraporn and other personnel also attended the meeting.
