At present, with the rapid growth of the ASEAN economy, the instability of power supply and related professionals has become prominent. At the same time, China has seen huge progress in the aspect of power sector worldwide in the last twenty years, and there is a large amount of teaching resources as well as experiences which can be shared with partners.

    Under the background, China–ASEAN Energy Power Vocational Education Group (abbreviated to CAEPVEG, and hereinafter referred to as the “Group”) is hereby established to promote the international cooperation in energy engineering vocational education, realize the resource sharing in the field between China and ASEAN, and thus meet the demand of the economic and social development in the region.
