The School of Agricultural Engineering is a prestigious school with traditional disciplines and emerging disciplines. The School thoroughly implements the Party's educational work policy, closely focuses on the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people, actively serves the Rural Revitalization Strategy, takes agricultural engineering as the feature and serves the modern agricultural industry as the main line, constructs the integration of "planting, breeding, processing and inspection", and accurately connects the key links of the modern agricultural industry chain. The School's mission is to ensure the safe and effective supply of green agricultural products, serve the transformation and upgrading of traditional agriculture such as fruits, vegetables, tea, livestock and fishery in Guangxi, closely meet the demand for talents in the development of modern agricultural industry, focus on South Subtropical characteristic agriculture and ecological three-dimensional circular agriculture, and focus on the development of high-value processing and quality testing of agricultural products. We are committed to cultivating modern agricultural engineering technicians with firm ideals and beliefs, solid theoretical foundation, good professional quality and outstanding practical ability. At this stage, the School offers seven majors (including professional directions), and constructs two professional groups of tea tree cultivation, tea processing and modern agricultural technology.

After more than 50 years of continuous construction and development, the School has trained more than 8,000 graduates of various types, transported a large number of senior technical and management talents for modern agricultural production in South China, and the employment rate of graduates has reached more than 95%.
